What is Cognitive Dissonance?

Have you ever gotten an uncomfortable feeling when you’re doing something you know you don’t agree with, even though it might make sense to do it in that situation? For example, you just took a hard exam, but tell your friend it’s not that hard so that they aren’t nervous… but now you feel bad for lying. That’s called cognitive dissonance! Let’s learn some more about it.

Examining the Split Brain
